San Luis Rey Downs Golf Club begins from an elevated tee on the first hole and finishes with a memorable par five, with holes in-between that feature a fairly level terrain highlighted by the presence of mature eucalyptus trees in the river valley. This is a shot-makers course, which demands strategic positioning from tee to green, and with frequent doglegs and hazards that await offline shots.
On property is a full practice facility with grass range, short game area with sand bunker and two putting greens. On property there is a pro shop, banquet and meeting rooms, and the restaurant and sports pub.

From San Diego: Take I-15 North. Take Gopher Canyon exit, turn right at bottom of exit. At the signal, turn left onto Old Highway 395. Go to Camino Del Rey and turn left. Go approximately 6 miles to Old River Rd and bear left (next to the school). Go approximately 0.3 miles to Golf Club Drive and turn left. We are located approximately 0.3 miles on the left.
